This award winning CD-ROM was created for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. The CD is an interactive movie about the challenges facing family owned businesses. It contains approximately one-hour of digital video, supporting voiceover, printable info on five main topics, analysis by family business consultants, and insight into select characters motivations thru the use of audio thought balloons. It takes the viewer behind the scenes of a fictitious business and allows the viewer to redirect the action of five central topics and see the result of their choices in a new video scenario. This multipurpose tool was developed as a lead generator, supplemental training program, a seminar selling tool and a database enrichment vehicle that is offered to a targeted audience in a national advertising campaign.
This interactive CD-ROM earned an award from AV Video & Multimedia Producer magazine for Jerry Mainardi of Lighthouse SPG, coordinator of this project. He was recognized as one of the top 100 multimedia producers of 1996 by the magazine with the inclusion of an article in the November '96 issue.
