selling technologies, a division of Lighthouse SPG, produced this four disc package entitled businessKillers, a revolutionary new CD-ROM sales and lead generation tool for the insurance market. Six short, emotionally charged compelling video segments re-enact real-life "business-killing" situations - to educate business owners, hold their attention, and motivate them to take action to ensure their success.

Directed primarily at the insurance and financial planners industry, the package includes one seminar presentation disc and three personal discs for private use by the business owner or manager. The difference between the two disc types centers mainly on their intended use. The presentation disc is intended for use with a video projector in a seminar setting or on a lap-top meeting with a prospect. The on screen text bullets are silent with no voiceover allowing space for the sales rep to talk the prospect(s) thru the presentation until the next video clip. It contains 30 FPS full screen interpolated 1024x768 MPEG-1 digital video. This disc also includes user customizable “outcomes” and "solution" text fields allowing the insurance rep or financial planner to input product specific text that then appears seamlessly integrated into the presentation.

The personal discs are intended for distribution to business owners to be viewed at their convenience. The disc is narrated throughout with navigation help voiceover and text bullet discussion. The viewer can simply press the space bar to continue thru the presentation in its' entirety or interactively choose from the six main topics. The personal disc includes the same video content as the seminar disc compressed as15 FPS 180x240 WindowsMedia video for Windows98, 2000, and XP providing compatibility with most computers.

The
Lighthouse SPG team coordinated every element of this project including the conceptualization, research for all video scripts and content flowchart, video production and post, and supervision of graphics, printing and fabrication. Graphics for interface and package concept and design/printing of all packaging & inserts, and graphic design & film output for disc silk screening provided by Jodi Specter of HyperGraphics. Interface graphics compositing and integration, video & audio encoding & compression, authoring and CD-ROM pre-mastering provided by C&C Studios.
